BOY IS THIS WORLD MESSED UP !!!

I really said a mouth full when I came up with the title for this blog post! Have you ever seen the world so upside down? You can’t hardly believe anything on the news media, especially on the liberal networks. It seems that up is down and right is wrong! Of course, if you’ve read Revelations, then you are somewhat aware of the trend if you can understand what the reference might be! Simply look around, read a little of the news and you will get my point.

Take for instance, all the riots on the campuses of higher learning. Now, there is another mouth full said. I do not view them as institutions of higher learning as they turn out so many misguided souls. They graduate with no real knowledge of the world around them and know nothing about the true business world. Those few who choose to hire on, use some of the knowledge acquired, listen and learn from their bosses and fellow workers seem to come around. But, way too many seem to think that the professors, who have never held a job in the real world, hold the secret to success. They are all missing the knowledge about the Israel/Hamas conflict. They have been told that Israel is the aggressor in this conflict and have not taken the time to research the truth about the October 7th attack by Hamas on Israel. They seem to think that Israel stole the land from the Palestinians; thusly, the saying, “from the river to the sea”! They have no knowledge of the land being given to the Jews thru Abraham by God before there were Palestinians. Most believe Israel came to be in 1948. The Palestinians were given the Gaza strip and they chose to elect Hamas as their leaders even though Hamas has always been, is today, and will always be terrorist unless Israel destroys them completely. Let me say here, IMHO, that will be almost impossible. This hatred has been and is now being taught in Palestinian schools. Hatred is hard to destroy when it is taught not only by the establishment but also within the family. Let us all pray as I do every night that the Lord will somehow destroy the “warring factions” in the world.

Now simply to further my point of the world being upside down or in a mess let me point out how the media has or is trying to destroy the Kansas City Chief’s kicker, Harrison Butker! They seem to believe because in his speech at a Catholic College Commencement he said, or spoke, of his wife working with him to be such a “homemaker” that he is degrading women. I have listened to it myself and was impressed by his speech. He was simply expressing his love and gratitude to his wife for her help. He in no way degraded women when in fact he was building them up. I myself owe a lot of my success to my wife for all the years of support in my business travels. She was the one that kept the home fires burning and caring for our child. Now, let them come after me! Bet they will get taught a hard lesson.

It all goes back to “COMMON SENSE” that we try to display in this blog, “My Daddy’s Common Sense”! We try to use such in hopes that it may rub off on those who have none. I’ve always said and still believe that if you have no Common Sense, even if you absorb just a small amount, it will make your life so much easier! So, here is to hoping that this blog will add to those who already have some and will truly help those who were hiding behind the door when it was passed out! Can anyone say, LIBERALS?

I WILL SAY WHAT I WANT AND IF IT OFFENDS YOU SO BE IT!!!!!

Well, I have had it up to my eye balls with all these people being offended by what someone says. Sorry, I meant to say “liberal bastages” being offended by what a “conservative bastage” has to say.  The “liberal bastages” can say and do anything about or to a conservative and they think we should just let them have their way.  Well, not me my friend. I will call them out; and, I will call them whatever I want as that is what “free speech” is all about.  It is easy as hell to allow speech that you agree with; but, it takes a “set” to allow someone with whom you disagree to have their say.  That is what “free speech” is all about.  The act of allowing someone to express their opinion when you think it borders on or is “hate speech”.  I will continue to say what I want, when I want, and where I want and you’ll have to accept it as my right or try to shut me up. Please try! I served my country for that right as well as for your right. If you try to silence my voice or restrict my right, then do so at your own risk.  I use this forum to express and somewhat debate but I really do not debate well.  I think when it comes to point and I really want to end the debate–I’ll just drag you across the desk and slap “fire from your ass”. I put that in quotation marks as I was quoting my Dad. It is over at that point and I win. YEA!!! I know that is childish, but what can I say, I’m from the old school.

This thing about the high school kid who held the sign asking a gal to the prom with something like “if I were black I’d be pickin’ cotton, but I’m white and I’m pickin’ you for my prom date”.  I thought it was funny but here comes all the “liberal bastages” being offended.  It is a joke “dumbasses”!  This day in time there is still some racism in the world, or in our country, but “get over being a victim”.  There may not be anyone still alive in today’s world that lived during the time of slavery in this country.  BTW, do you know who it was that wanted to keep you “black folks” in slavery?  It was the party of “Dixiecrats” which evolved into the Democratic party of today.  And, the black community votes almost entirely for the democrats. REAL SMART, eh?  They, the liberals, have raised so much hell that the poor guy can’t even attend the prom or any other school functions the rest of the year.  How stupid. He made a joke.  I’ve done the same thing. “If I’d have known it was going to be this much trouble, I’d of picked that damn cotton myself”. Before you go jumping all over me, I said that to a Latvian friend of mine who really did pick cotton when he and his family came here from Latvia. See what jumping to conclusions leads you “liberal bastages” to.

It is a crying shame that we have all these hyphenated Americans when we ought to be just Americans.  I do not give a damn where you are from as long as you work, take care of your family and don’t expect me to do it for you– then you are a man and I will treat you like one.  BUT, come here and “lay on your ass” and expect the American people to care for you and yours, well you can simply kiss my ass. Is that plain enough for you to get my drift? No welfare. No rent subsidies.  No healthcare. No free lunches for kids. And no damn “ANCHOR BABIES”.  After all, it is only good “COMMON SENSE” that you take care of your family and I’ll take care of mine. If need be, any of you who want can now use my “soap box” as “I will sit a spell”.

CAN YOU READ THIS???

Hey folks, as all that follow me, and keep up with not only my blog, but also those of you who have purchased one of or both my CDs, know I am concerned about the excesses in our government.  Well, I have discovered another area where we as a country have over extended ourselves for the sake of immigrants.  Sometimes, it is not just for immigrants but we do foolish things for our citizens.  At times, we spend a lot of money to help a segment of our population when it is not necessary.  We do things to solve problems when there is a much easier solution.  BUT NO, our leaders in all their glory and smarts just throw money at the problem.  Your and my money, not their own. And by the way, I thought no immigrants were to be covered by Obamacare.  Just caught that “FOOL” in another lie.

One such problem arose, or came to my attention, the other day when I got a letter from the health insurance company that covers my wife.  Most, if not all of you, have received this letter but like so many things you simply did not notice.  Maybe I noticed just because I’m a GOBY.  Let me explain the term GOBY for you.  When my first grandchild came along, my daughter and son-in-law asked me what name I wanted to use.  I told them it was their job to name the child; and they made me understand, “What name did I want to be called?”  I thought for just a second and replied, “grumpy old bastard” fits me pretty well.  So they took the three letters, added a “y” so now I am “GOBY”.  True story and by the way I’m proud to wear the title and proud of it.  It is like a “badge of honor” and I sparkle with delight when the kids holler, “GOBY, GOBY come here”. I even have other people who have taken to calling me “GOBY”; and it does not offend me even the slightest. Now, back to the insurance “thing-a-ma-jig”.  They, the company, had included a couple of pages, front  and back, of the info in different languages.  I did not count how many languages but there where about 30, maybe more.  Some I had never heard of.  Let me ask you if you have ever heard of Chamorro? How about Telugu? How about Punjabi or Yoruba?  Just how many people or we talking about?  It can not be more than a very few.  For you doubters, just walk around all day and ask everyone you come in contact with if they speak one of these.  And I mean everyone, in business, at WalMart, everywhere you go, then report back to me. If you can find even one, then maybe I’ll “quit my bitchin'”.  They even have it printed in Navajo, Cherokee and Choctaw.  These are native American languages.  Just how many Indians do we have in this country that do not understand and speak English.  None is the answer for all you “liberal dumbasses”. Thank you so very much!!! In order for the government to produce such a document they have to employ someone who can speak and write in these languages.  That cost “MONEY”, lots of “MONEY”.  That is money from you and me as in “TAXES”.  This is done with all government correspondence and is a “WASTE”.  The taxes are higher because they have to pay someone to “sit on their ass” until they need them to write something, I guess.  It is the same thing that WalMart does when they and Home Depot list every item in Mexican.  They have to charge you and I more for every item to cover the cost of doing so; and it does not benefit most of us a bit. Call me racist, or what ever, I do not care; for I have broad shoulders and can carry the load.  Just don’t do it to my face because it might just lead to an “ass whupping.”  Yours or mine, but an ‘ass whupping” just the same.

I can hear it all now, all you people saying, “this is no big problem” and you are right I guess. But, do you not realize all these little things add up to a lot of expenditure that could be avoided?  Always remember, “A PENNY SAVED IS A PENNY EARNED”.  It only makes “COMMON SENSE” to save what you can.  It’s a “penny here, a penny there” and soon you have dollars.  So, go out today and do the survey so you can report back to me.  Also, go out and use some “COMMONSENSE” as it is free unless you send me a donation or you buy one of my CDs from the link below.

READ THIS AND WEEP !!!!!

Folks, I want everyone to pay attention to this; but especially, I want the “stupid liberals” to pay attention.  This is a history lesson that “liberals” and democrats in general need to learn.  Ask yourself, as a liberal, can you continue to live off your credit cards and make no payments?  Soon your card company will cut off your credit and the “stuff” hits the fan.  Ask yourself: What happens when you have 10 people in the cart, and 10 people pulling the cart, and then those pulling the cart decide they will get in the cart also?  The cart comes to a complete “stand still”.  Well folks, this is what is happening in America.  When you read below, try to use an “open mind” and apply logic.  I know this will be double hard for you “liberal bastages” as you do not have any logic or “COMMON SENSE”; but, it’s time to find a “conservative” and borrow “a cup full”.  Pay attention to the areas that vote for Obama and the areas that voted for Romney.  Maybe this will open your eyes. But, I doubt it as so many in today’s world have no “COMMON SENSE”.  It is a shame that “COMMON SENSE” thought has been completely removed from our educational system.  This has been accomplished by the adoption of “liberal thought and policies” and has led us to the mess we now have in this country.  If you think we are headed in the right direction, just look at the inner cities; and if you think they are fine, then that makes you the “problem”.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to 20 million criminal invaders called illegal’s — and they VOTE — then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years!

 

If after reading this, you still think we have no problems coming our way–then you are beyond repair.  You are one of those “liberal bastages” of which I speak.  We, as a nation, are in serious peril and must change course if our form of government is to survive. The “flyover” part of the country is being ruled by the “inner cities”.  We in the “flyover” country are supporting the “inner cities”.  The inner cities are addicted to the free stuff and that is why they vote democrats into office.  The last democrat with any “COMMON SENSE” was Kennedy who said, “ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY”.  A far cry from “Hillary” and her free stuff give away programs of today.  We need to change things and it should start with the education system.  We need to change our education system so that it educates everyone.  We will have to reeducate a complete generation with “COMMON SENSE” and self-responsibility as they were indoctrinated into the “liberal thought process” which is the problem itself.   It will not be easy, but we have no other choice, and it only makes “COMMON SENSE” to do so.

I HAVE A “RIGHT TO SPEAK”!!!!!

Hey folks, where is this nonsense coming from ?  Do the protesters at the “Trump rally” really feel they are practicing “the American way”?  Now I’m just an average guy who works, picks a little guitar, loves his wife and daughter, not to leave out the grandkids, and for the life of me do not understand these morons trying to limit “free speech”.  Do they not realize that I and many others served in the military to protect this right?  That is why they can protest; but, to shut down the opposition is to limit your own right.  They have been taught this in the colleges by professors who do not operate in the “real world”.  I served six years and I want them to have the right to hold their signs and such. But, I did not serve to allow them to “shut me up”.  I have had enough of this garbage and I’m sure I’m not alone.  They need to remember that we are the ones that served and were trained.  We were trained to fight and to handle weapons not to sit on our butts and make signs.  If you really want a fight, then let’s “get it on”.  You fools with you signs and us with our weapons.  Not one of these “lily-livered assholes” will do well when the likes of me finally explode.  ***Here’s a video that you should watch:  http://www.faithit.com/coach-lines-up-disprespectful-team-says-not-to-move-for-2-minutes-what-happens-next-chills-inspirational/#.VuRH548sWJM.email

It is horrible that America has allowed the colleges to teach our men and women of tomorrow such crap.  The graduates holler for a job; but, in many cases, they do not have the skills to fill the job; but, they feel entitled.  The “Good Book” tells it like it is and it says, “serve the employer as if you are serving the Lord”.  Bet they never heard that from any “smart professor”.  These protesters want to shut down the likes of “The Donald” all the while it is people like him that are furnishing jobs.  I myself have and feel a responsibility for the families which we support through the companies we run.  We support hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs by our efforts everyday.  And yes we also indirectly support these students and professors thru “pell grants and student loans” with the taxes we pay.  Do these morons not realize that without the working folks and taxes that the government produces nothing and could not help with their education?  So, they are “biting the hand which feeds them” when they go after job producers like Trump. They need to simply ask themselves one question: How many jobs have Hillary or Bern or Ted or Marco or John produced in their lifetime?  Let me tell you.  NONE.  They have all worked in government their entire adult life and government produces no jobs unless someone like me produces a “widget” –makes income –and that “ugly” word a profit –and pays taxes. So, sit back down on your lazy asses, shut up and learn. It is like they do not realize that is the working stiff who pays taxes that have furnished and paid for their complete education.  These fools do not realize that “public schools” are not free.  They are paid for thru taxes on the working man. And, the working man would not have a job so he could pay the taxes if not for the business owners, large and small, like Trump and myself.  Jesus-peaches, this is not “rocket science” folks. It is just good ole “COMMON SENSE”.

So in closing, please get educated, keep your nose clean, get a job and obey the 10 laws which we were given thousands of years ago. If you just do these simple tasks, you life will be a “cake walk”.  After all it just makes “COMMON SENSE” to do so.

I EARNED EVERY DIME —S.S. IS NOT A GOVERNMENT BENEFIT!!!!!

The government has decided to call Social Security a “government benefit” which it is not.  I  earned every dime I get which was deducted from my pay for over forty years. Now, the fools in our government have decided that what I get is a hand-out.  This bunch of crooks do not realize that it is my money they are returning to me.  It should have been earning interest all these years; but. these crooked SOB’s never put the money to work or at least they did not pay us any interest on the money they stole and used for other projects.  I, for one, am tired of these “money changers” and will do everything in my power to expose what crooks they really are.  This is not a really long blog. But, it being short in no way diminishes the importance of the subject.  We, as citizens, have to stand up and stop allowing these “crooks” to run “rough shod” over us. The following is an e-mail that I noticed and thought it should get as much exposure as possible.  Hope you let this “sink in” for a while and then pass it on to everyone you know.  This example is very enlightening and everyone should be made aware of the inner workings of the system.  If they, the government, had only invested the funds the way they should have, there would never have been a “short fall”.  Just the opposite, as we, the retired folks, would be “living large”.

The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a “Federal Benefit Payment.” This isn’t a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
 
If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that’s close to $180,000 invested in Social Security.
 
If you calculate the future value of your monthly invest-ment in social security ($375/month, including both you and your employers contributions) at a meager 1% interest rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working you’d have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved!
 
This is your personal investment. Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month.
 
That’s almost three times more than today’s average Social Security benefit of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration. (Google it – it’s a fact).
 
And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you’re 98 if you retire at age 65)! I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts.
 
Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger *Ponzi scheme* than Bernie Madoff ever did.
 
They took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn’t have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn’t pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they’ve told us that the money won’t support us for very much longer. (Isn’t it funny that they NEVER say this about welfare payments?)
 
But is it our fault they misused our investments? And now, to add insult to injury, they’re calling it a *benefit*, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.
 
Just because they borrowed the money doesn’t mean that our investments were a charity!
 
Let’s take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.
 
Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it.
 
They are not even giving us the annual raise this year.   Don’t tell us the cost of living is NOT going up and up  ! ! ! !

Now that you have read and thought about the information, hopefully, you can use “COMMON SENSE” and see that it has been a scam.  People have gone to jail and served years in prison for much fewer crimes.  It is time for the American people to open their eyes and use the “COMMON SENSE” GOD gave you and put a stop to these corrupt politicians.  To do so only makes “COMMON SENSE”.

HAS AMERICAN’S LOST THEIR MINDS????

Well, here we are again.  Americans have lost all hold on reality.  We have gone off the “deep end” after the horrible shooting in South Carolina.  It was the fault of one crazy person; but, the public is trying to blame it on anything just to try to make sense of the horror.  They have decided that if they remove a flag it will stop this from happening in the future.  Now, didn’t we let them install all sorts of “background checks” the last several times this happened and now we see that did not help at all.  I hate to say it, but we told you “dumbasses” it would not help. So, now that gun control laws didn’t help, let’s remove simple “pieces of cloth” called flags.  OH, BOY, bet this will do the trick, you “dumbass”.

The powers to be say that the “Confederate” flag is the problem because it represents hate.  That is total “BS” and they know it.  It was about “states rights” and the right to secede from the Union.  Now, read this very closely so you do not miss it.  The Union said the southern states did not have the right to do so, secede from the Union.  But, had they not some years before claimed that they had the right to secede from England?  They fought a war against the “redcoats” to make their point.  They did not want to live under the control of England and felt as if the states had that right.  Are you with me still?  So, if that is the case, and it seems that it was, then did not the “southern” states possess the same right?  The “southern” states did not want to live under the control of the Union Army. So, they fought for their freedom just as the 13 colonies fought England for their freedom.  This makes “COMMON SENSE”, I do not care what side you are or were on.  It is amazing how this “COMMON SENSE” stuff works.

We, as a nation, had better wake up quickly or we will be in another “CIVIL WAR”.  It is going to boil down to the same argument as before.  The more conservative folks do not want to live under the progressive tyrannical rule.  The liberals, as I call them, want to dictate from Washington how we here in Texas live our daily lives.  They just can not entertain the idea that we are a different people with completely different lifestyles from the elitist back east.  We eat differently, we work differently, we play differently, and we certainly live differently.  And guess what, we are damn sure not going to change without a fight. This Obama fellow does not seem to have the balls to fight ISIS; but seems to want to pick a fight with so many Americans that simply want to live under local control and local laws.  Of course, that is because he is an idiot which I have pointed out many times before on a host of different issues.  The “liberal fruit cakes” with this fool Obama as their leader know nothing about how we live our lives and they do not care; because, just like England, they want to control us.  All they really want is our taxes to help pay for the freebies they give the “deadbeats” which vote them into office. It is just a legal form of corruption and buying of votes. Ask yourself, what would happen if you offered to pay an entire group of people to sway their vote?  In case you haven’t heard, that is voter fraud; but, when the liberals give rent and utility benefits, food stamps and yes even free Obama phones to sway that groups vote, it is legal.  And that my friend is pure “BS”, but it is being done. They decided years ago that they did not want to fight a war again; so, they just found another way.  That is why they want open borders so they can continue to control thru the ballot box. I bet if the “King of England” was still alive today he would be kicking himself in the ass over this fact.  All he had to do was spread a little “green” in the right places and we would still be under their control today.  Corrupt, but effective, just like the liberal polices of today.

I, for one, have had enough and instead of living this way–I’m ready to fight.  I will and have started my fight with this blog.  I am trying to get you to think for yourselves and to use the “COMMON SENSE” God gave you. If you do so, then “COMMON SENSE” says you will join me in my defense of the “GOOD OLE AMERICAN WAY”.

HANDS UP, DON’T SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, now there is a slogan that every person in the country can use.  If and when I decide to commit a crime and the law shows up, I think I will use it.  Maybe, just maybe, I’ll not use it after all because it might insult the officer.  Maybe, just maybe, I’ll not commit any crimes and I will not have to worry about it at all.  Now, if I, who am not a rocket scientist, can come up with such a thought, surely all these young black men, thugs/gangstas, presented as “choir boys” should be able to figure this out also.  These fools have never, nor have their parent, notice it is singular, ever figured it out.  This is explained slightly more by the photo to follow.

When or how are we to ever explain the concept of getting married before having children, getting educated, getting spiritually nourished, getting a job and working hard and in general, “keeping your nose clean” and how it benefits all people?   Sure sounds nerdy when compared to the gangsta rap which most of the black community kneel to and worship.  The new generation of “blacks” are very liberal and it has not served them well.  The “black” community of years past knew the value of the “work ethic”, spiritual guidance and FAMILY values.  This generation of “young blacks” have been corrupted by the liberal movement and by the drug culture.  They have not realized that the “DNC” is the new “slave master” and they are just puppets being manipulated by the masters.  They have not taken full advantage of emancipation; but, simply traded or moved from one plantation to another.  Their ancestors worked the “cotton plantations” to just get by and this generation has or is working the “welfare system” to just survive.  Check this out now, watch this really close, I am going to give you “thugs” the secret to survive well and prosper. “READ THE FIRST SENTENCE OF THIS PARAGRAPH OVER AND OVER AT LEAST ONE HUNDRED TIMES OR UNTIL IT TRULY SINKS INTO YOUR THICK HEAD”!!!!!!!!!!! I may be over simplifying or asking to much of them because most will think “paragraph” is the way old “blacks” listened to “gangsta rap” in the “old days”. (CLUE, not phonograph) Here I go again using those big “college words”. I know this is harsh, but everyone loves a little comedy. This just all makes “COMMON SENSE”.

Now, to prove my point about education and “COMMON SENSE”, hopefully, the following photo will open your eyes.  It demonstrates the “blacks” starting point in this whole discussion.  If we are that far apart or we have to start our “sales pitch” there, we will never find “COMMON SENSE GROUND” so to speak.  If this does not explain it all without me defining it for you, then the problem is much worse than I thought.  If you do not comprehend the picture or the thought that went into the sign, then please rush to find someone with “COMMON SENSE” to explain it to you.  Please do not call or e-mail me to help you because if you do not understand this photo then you are “way too much of a dumb ass for me to even try to explain it to you”.  Thanks, but “no thanks”!!!!!

P.S.  Not all “blacks” are to be painted with this brush.  Many such as Ben Carson, Herman Cain, Allan West, Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell or Condoleezza Rice are all great Americans.  All should be thought of as “HEROS” in the black community.

DISASTER CITIES UNDER DEMOCRAT RULE FOR YEARS !!!!!

Hey, now here is a real question that may have never been answered.  I may not answer the question to many readers liking; but, at least I’m going to give all of you “food for thought,” or better yet, let you take a look at information from a “COMMON SENSE” angle.  My hope is that each and every one of you will pass this on to any “democrat” you may run into.

I know I will offend the democrats. But, do you really think I care? Although, it is the democrats that I want to reach so that maybe, just maybe, I might convert their mindless thought into something close to a “COMMON SENSE” thought.  I know, I know, you are screaming at me for thinking I might rewire their brains from “backwards” to “COMMON SENSE” but I must try.  The information about to be presented is on many sites; but, no one ever takes the time to look it up.  Most democrats know it is there; but, they really do not want the truth to be known as “truth to a democrat is like sunlight is to Dracula”.  It really does destroy them and their argument and I guess that hurts.

I will try to explain or present the information so as not to offend and I will try to keep my personal feelings hidden so as not to influence a readers decision about the subject.  YEA, RIGHT !!!!! So here we go democrats, read’um and weep.

Here is a list of the nation’s top listed crime cities in no particular order.  They all have bad crime rates and this is a list of the “top ten”, as David Letterman might say.

Now, aren’t all you residents proud of yourselves for making the list?  I bet every Mayor is just jumping with joy since their leadership is working so well.  If you didn’t notice, these are all in areas where the democrats are in control and have been in control of government for years.  Quite a “testament” to democrats.  These democrats are going to squirm under this type of exposure; but, maybe the folks that elect these “clowns” will have their eyes opened to the facts.  What is that old saying, “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome”.  The people keep electing democrats over and over again and expecting a different outcome.  For example, the “black” population continue to be a “block” vote for the democrats and the party does nothing for them.  The “black” population has just moved from one plantation to another plantation.  For goodness sake, open your eyes.  It was the democrats that owned the “plantations of the south” and it is the democrats that own the politics of the cities, “new plantations”,  in which you live.  Get the hell out or change your leadership!  It will not get any better until you make the change.  The numbers to the side of each city represent the percentage of whites verses black population (note that in Miami, the third number is the Hispanic and others).  This is a very interesting and telling comparison also.

Now let us look at the poorest cities list.  Notice that only three show up on both list. But, if we ran down the list a bit farther, we would find more of the cities on both list.  No one is pro-poverty; but, the two parties have completely different ideas on how to solve the problem.  Democrats want to raise taxes so as to “give” the poor (black or white) a small token, “the new plantation effect”, while the republicans  want to create jobs/opportunities to move the poor (black or white) off of welfare, or off “the plantation”.   Much like what President Clinton did by co-opting the republican’s “Welfare Act”.   It worked and the welfare rolls went down until we got democrats back in control and here went the “give me programs”.  It really has nothing to do with size of the city.  If you elect democrats to run small towns, they simply make smaller messes than their counterparts do in the big cities.  Like, “two peas in a pod”, so to speak.

If these lists and the information presented does not enlighten you, then you must be a “thick-headed liberal” whose brain is hardwired backwards.  If the “light does not come on” after reviewing these facts and lists, then you have no “COMMON SENSE” and must be ” written off as a lost cause”.  I would love to help you; but, you must want to help yourself.

BEING AN AMERICAN; WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN ?

Well, here we go again.  I’ve given the readers a break and I have taken a little break to try to refresh my thoughts.  As you can see from the title, I have been thinking about being an American and what does it really mean.  I can and will tell you what I think it means; but, what I really want to accomplish is for each of you to study the title and decide for yourself what it means to you.  I think that you might agree with me after giving it some thought.

You see, I think this is the greatest nation on earth and I am both proud and thankful to be an American.  We have a “Constitution” and a “Bill of Rights” that guide us each step along the path of being an American.  As important as these documents are, we must realize that our “rights come from our Creator” and that these documents only support the “rights from our Creator” in a legal manner.  America was founded on basic “Judeo-Christian” beliefs.    So, it only makes “COMMON SENSE” that each of us thank “GOD” for the opportunity of being born here instead of anywhere else, like maybe Indonesia, Kenya or Iran.  The people born in these places, as well as all Communists countries, have no basic instinct into the freedoms of this great country.  Therefore, when someone emigrates to this country they must be educated in our ways, language, culture and laws.  In early America, most immigrants came to this country through “Ellis Island” and there were requirements and a test which had to be passed to prove each immigrate deserving of the title of “AMERICAN”.  Boy has that changed!  I have a dear friend that became a U.S. citizen a couple of years ago and she was so proud.  We had a really big party for her with all her friends in attendance with all the red, white and blue decorations.  There were tears in everyone’s eye when she said in her speech “Just how proud she was to finally be an AMERICAN”.  It took her about five years to get through all the red tape and to take her nationalization test.  After she passed, she told me “I studied so hard because it was so important to me; but, I was disappointed in the simplistic questions on the test. It was so simple that I could have passed it and never studied.  It really should be much more demanding a test for such a prize as citizenship”.  Stop for a moment folks and think about this.  We, as a nation, are giving this wonderful prize of citizenship and not demanding very much in return.

Not only have we cheapened citizenship; but, we no longer even care if the immigrants become citizens.  We have cheapened it by bestowing all the rights of citizenship without requiring that they become citizens.  We have lost our way.  Not only have we lost our way; but, we have, or, are in the process of losing our culture.  In an effort to not offend the immigrants, we have robbed not only ourselves but the immigrants themselves.  We have robbed them of that prideful feeling of EARNING citizenship and TRULY BECOMING AN AMERICAN. Some of my most prized processions are the ones I had to “work my ass off to get”.  The two that I prize the most are my wife and daughter and believe you me when I tell you they made me earn their respect.  Of course, the “Runt” is making me work also.

Now to prove my point I’m going back to 1907 when a President, Theodore Roosevelt, made a speech about immigration.  I have mentioned how I feel; but, I will never be able to say it any better than he did.  It is something that should be said again and again and every “AMERICAN” should hear it and never forget it.  The following is a exert from his speech:

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. I know that some liberals will hardily disagree with this “one American” thing, but I do not care.  It is time for us to become “ONE AMERICA” again and that truly does require no more of this African-American or Mexican-American or Jewish-American.  We are all and must be AMERICANS – FIRST AND FOREMOST!  Maybe we should pay more attention to, “ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE  WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL”.  “How sweet the sound”!  That truly is what being American is all about and it only makes “COMMON SENSE” to spread the word.
