JUST A REMINDER THAT THINGS DO CHANGE!!!!!
Hey folks, I just felt compelled to share these thoughts with you before election time! I know everyone, just like me, is hating our fuel prices. But, just consider what we as a nation might be experiencing if we hadn’t stopped Iran from obtaining a “NUKE”! ONE OF OUR MAJOR CITIES OR MAYBE EVEN SEVERAL MIGHT HAVE BEEN UNDER ATTACK RIGHT NOW! It is an unknown idea, but I feel a lot safer knowing those idiots do not have a “NUKE”! When I say several, it might have only taken one “NUKE” placed between several large population centers to do massive harm. Just think about right in between the Houston, Dallas and San Antonio area which would have Waco, Austin and Ft. Worth in the mix also. How about the upper east coast somewhere between NYC/New Jersey area with PA. thrown in for good measure. Not to mention RI and NH! These are all huge population centers which would do great harm to our country. And, we haven’t mentioned the LA area in California. I think paying a little more for everything for a short period of time has been a small donation toward the safety of our neighbors.
The fuel cost has been hard to afford; but, I really think it will come down after the election. I had someone say to me the other day that he did not care about high diesel/gas prices as he did not drive either as he had an EV. I could not believe what I was hearing! But, some of you may feel the same, so let me remind you, as I did with him, that all of their food was produced and transported by these products and he was paying for the price increases even while driving his EV! Remember, that old “COMMON SENSE” thing applies whether you burn it directly or indirectly. And the pair of jeans or nice dress or those boots/shoes were shipped using those products as well. Let’s just agree after due consideration and applying “COMMON SENSE” that we all share the expense.
It is hard right now. But, here is hoping the prices will start to adjust as the election draws nearer. I am certainly hoping for that to take place. The President’s number one job is to keep the American citizenry safe and he has done so. He has also stopped the inflow of illegals crossing the border and helped make the country safer. I know many are upset about ICE, but folks they have been charged by congress to maintain order by enforcing laws passed by the law makers themselves. Have mistakes been made, I’m sure, but mistakes are made every day in every industry, but we do not abolish the work force. These ICE officers are assigned a very difficult task and to be honest I think they have done their job of removing not just criminals; but also, illegals when confronted. The law states according to Congress that if an illegal is found during the arrest of a criminal that the illegal must be detained and the process to deport is started. once again, ICE is simply following the laws as written and passed by Congress yet a lot of Congress personnel object. Then the law should be changed in Congress which I would disagree with strongly!
